![]() ![]() Click around the X and it should eventually close. ![]() Sometimes, the seller might post some notices to the front page which appear as pop-ups and it can get annoying since the close (X) might not work properly. The link I’ve added has English text and sorts the list based on when they were added. Check back later and they should be Green. Remember that you’ll see orange for pre-orders or new titles, which could mean that the seller is trying to obtain stock. Red means sold out, Orange can be ‘waiting for stock’ or ‘sold out’, and Green means that it’s in stock and ready to ship. This is how their website works: On the listing or the site, you might see any of the 3 colored dots (next to shipping time: red, orange and green). I’ve bought from them thrice and never had any problems getting them safe and sound. You can cancel orders before they ship, and you can also use PayPal if you’re concerned. ![]() New items get added within days of appearing at FA’s and did I tell you that shipping is only ~$10-11 to the US (singles)? Their steelbook pricing can also be a dollar or two less than FA sometimes. In fact, they sell only FA and Black Baron’s releases exclusively. NOPE!!įilm Arena : I’ve come across this site recently from and I’d heartily recommend to all Film Arena fans. Everything seems fine, right? YOU’RE WRONG! Did I tell you that they have INSANE shipping prices (to the US)? Sometimes the cost might be 50% of the SB and can go even higher for boxsets. The Pre-order button just says when you can reserve, but I’ve never done that. That’s when you pay – and if you don’t, they remind you once or twice and cancel your reservation – no biggie. You don’t pay anything at this point, and when the release is available to ship, they send you an invoice and you get a ‘Russian’ email with an invoice. By secure, its mostly just a reservation, like adding your name to a list. Their releases usually have a ‘I want to Buy’ or ‘In Stock’ buttons on the release page, and you might have to click that, login and ‘secure’ a copy. Their ordering system is one of the most confusing I’ve ever seen, and I almost never buy from them direct and use another site exclusively (more on that below). They have a Russian as well as an English site and I’ll add the English one here. But at least they have a site to order from, so there’s that. Almost all their pre-orders for new releases happen on a Friday at 8 AM ET.įilm Arena: This one’s a real mess guys, let’s be honest here. They give you accurate date and time for releases and you should be able to buy anything with relative ease on that time, unless you come in way late (which you don’t want) and they also restock once or twice. Nobody should join a GB for Manta Lab, and I mean this. Add something to cart, pay the $11 (or so) for economy shipping and wait. The site is a joy to use (in Premium SB standards) and everything is upfront. Oh, and did I tell you that the recent GB for Fantastic Beasts 2 lasted a whole 5-10 seconds (for OC) on ? Good luck! Join one from, HiDefNinja or MediaPsychos and follow their respective rules. Also, I’ve sorted releases based on when it was listed and almost all sites are bookmark ready – bookmark it and you’re good to go!īlufans: Unfortunately, though Blufans has a direct Chinese site, they don’t sell to us directly and there’s no way to get them besides joining a GB or, ahem, eBay. Some sites maybe in different language, and for them – I’ve tried to find an English replacement. I’ll try my best to give some ordering tips to get pretty much everything on release day. All I’m trying here is save you guys some time, headache and possibly money. Again, I know we all join GBs on various sites (thank you GB hosts for your time and help), and they can always be used as backup if you miss it from the retailers. The pros of buying direct – prices are cheap and so is the shipping cons – some of their sites can be god awful to deal with. Please remember that this is not by any means a comprehensive list, I’m just adding the ones that I know of and people are welcome to add their own. This post tells you where you can get them direct from the retailers themselves. This post doesn’t discuss the well known retailers like BB, Zavvi etc. You’re already hurting it by being here on this sub, this post just accelerates it 10x more). Let me cut direct to the chase – I hope y’all have heard of premium releases (please check the sub’s wiki if you don’t and this post will have some of the acronyms and steer clear from this post if you don’t want to hurt your wallet. Read more here: Īlright, guys! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while and never found the time, and I apologize. UPDATE 10/24: The store on 4 seem to have stopped doing new releases for FA/BB. ![]()
